Heng Heng has 4 outlets scattered across Kulai town and the second generation boss, Ah Kang 亚康 is here helming the founder's shop. Ah Kang's family is related to the family that runs the famous Tian Tian chicken rice in Singapore.
The chicken here is juicy, sweet and super tender. The roasted chicken is tasty and the white chicken is just smoooooth. Topped with their secret homemade savoury sauce, this perfect combination will leave you asking for more.
This roasted pork belly is what Heng Heng's founder (Ah Kang's dad) claim to fame. You all gotta give it a try.
The fragrant rice is tender yet firm, and the grains separate easily. The grains are coated with chicken broth, yet they are not greasy.
We have to give special mention to the chilli here. Gotta say that this is the best chicken rice chilli we've ever had. Mildly spicy, creamy and full bodied, it's definitely not your typical chicken rice chilli. When mixing the rice and the chilli together, it is like a match made in heaven!!!
